Petrol and petrol hybrid (48V MHEV / TFSI e) maintenance
Many Audi petrol engines (including 48V mild-hybrids and TFSI e plug-in hybrids) still follow a conventional service routine focused on clean oil, the correct oil specification and timely filter changes. Where a plug-in system is fitted, plan additional checks for cooling circuits and high-voltage system condition alongside the normal engine service items. If the car is used mainly for short trips, include more frequent checks of oil level and coolant condition and keep an eye on warning messages. Spark plugs and air filters are also key scheduled items on petrol engines, particularly where turbocharging is used.
