Petrol A3 servicing (TFSI, S3 and RS3)
Petrol Audi A3 engines span small-capacity TFSI units through performance models like the S3 and RS3 (2.0 TFSI and 2.5 TFSI), so service items and access can differ by generation. Keep on top of engine oil and filter changes, and treat any rising oil use, rough idle or hesitation as a prompt to inspect for intake leaks, ignition issues and boost-related hosework on turbo models. Spark plugs and air filtration are particularly important on direct-injection turbo petrol engines, as misfires can quickly trigger the engine management light and affect the catalytic converter. If your A3 is used for short journeys, additional checks of coolant condition and crankcase ventilation can help prevent drivability issues.
