Petrol and 48V mild-hybrid (MHEV) Suzuki service items
Many Suzuki petrol engines, including Boosterjet and Dualjet variants, follow a straightforward routine: correct-grade engine oil and filter changes, plus regular checks of coolant, brakes and tyres. On 48V (MHEV) systems, the key maintenance difference is careful inspection of hybrid-related wiring and connectors, and following the correct shutdown/isolation procedure before any work near electrical components. Keep the air filter and spark plugs on schedule, as missed ignition maintenance can increase fuel use and trigger the engine management light. If your Suzuki is mainly used for short trips, more frequent oil changes can be sensible even when the official interval is longer.
