Suzuki Swift petrol service and maintenance
Swift petrol engines range from older G-series units through to newer K-series Dualjet and BoosterJet turbo engines (for example K12B/K12C/K12D, K10C, K14C, plus G10A/G13BA/G13BB/G16B and M13A/M15A/M16A). Keep on top of engine oil and filter changes, as modern small-capacity turbocharged petrol engines are particularly sensitive to oil condition and correct grade. Spark plugs and the air filter are key routine items, and it is worth checking for vacuum leaks and split intake hoses if running becomes rough. Cooling system condition also matters across all generations, so watch for degraded coolant hoses and any signs of leaks around the radiator and water pump.
