Diesel Espace servicing (dCi and DTi)

Diesel Renault Espace models cover everything from earlier Turbo D/DTi units to later dCi engines such as 1.6 dCi, 1.9 dCi, 2.0 dCi and 3.0 dCi. Regular oil and filter changes are critical on turbo diesel engines, and the service plan may vary widely by generation, with oil service signals ranging from 7,500 to 30,000 km and 12 to 24 months. On dCi engines, keep an eye on air-intake and emissions-related maintenance because EGR/DPF-equipped versions are more sensitive to short-trip use and neglected servicing. Cooling system condition also matters on higher-output diesels, so check coolant strength and hose condition at the scheduled services for your selected engine.

Petrol Espace servicing (TCe, 16V and V6)

Petrol Renault Espace engines include earlier 2.0 and 2.2 units, later 2.0 16V turbo variants, and newer TCe engines such as 1.6 TCe and 1.8 TCe, plus some V6 options depending on generation. Petrol servicing focuses on correct oil grade, spark plugs at the specified interval, and keeping the cooling system and auxiliary drive components in good condition.
