Find your vehicle
 - step 1
Locate the battery
 - step 2
Open the battery cover
 - step 3
Check the Negative (-) terminal clamp is tight
 - step 4
Check the Positive (+) terminal clamp is tight. CAUTION If using a spanner to tighten terminal, be careful not to short the spanner on the bodywork! Replace cover
 - step 5
Check battery is generally secure, if loose, tighten the battery retainer - you will need to remove this plate to gain access
 - step 6

Tighten if required, 13mm socket is needed. Not too tight as you may damage the battery casing
 - step 8
When finished, remember to replace the plate and the battery cover
 - step 9
Now remove the plate
