Find your vehicle
 - step 1
Locate the battery
 - step 2
Open the battery cover - use a Phillips screwdriver
 - step 3
Check the Negative (-) terminal clamp is tight
 - step 4
Open the 'Positive' (+) protective cover
 - step 5
Check the Positive (+) terminal clamp is tight. CAUTION ⠀ “ if using a spanner to tighten terminal, be careful not to short the spanner on the bodywork Replace cover
 - step 6
Remove the cover
 - step 7
The battery retaining clamp position
 - step 8
Tighten if required, 7mm socket is needed. Not too tight as you may damage the battery casing
 - step 9
Replace the battery cover
 - step 10
Check battery is generally secure, if loose, tighten the battery retainer
