Find your vehicle
- step 1
Locate the battery. It is in the boot
- step 2
Lift out the emergency jack and it can be seen beneath
- step 3
Check the Negative (-) terminal clamp is tight
- step 4
Check the Positive (+) terminal clamp is tight. CAUTION If using a spanner to tighten terminal, be careful not to short it on the bodywork
- step 5
The battery retaining clamp position
- step 6
To tighten, a 13mm socket is needed. Not too tight because you may damage the battery casing - replace the battery cover
