Find your vehicle
- step 1
Locate the battery, which is in the boot. Open the battery cover
- step 2
Check the Negative (-) terminal clamp is tight
- step 3
Check the Positive (+) terminal clamp is tight. CAUTION If using a spanner to tighten terminal, be careful not to short it on the bodywork

The battery retaining clamp position

To tighten, a 13mm socket is needed. Not too tight because you may damage the battery casing. Replace the battery cover
