 - step 1
Air filter location
 - step 2
Start by undoing the wiper arm - use a 16mm spanner
 - step 3
Undo two retaining bolts to release bracket
 - step 4
Undo the 2 retaining fixings - use Torx-15 socket and remove brake fluid reservoir. Carefully set to one side
 - step 5
Undo circular clip on the air intake - use a 7mm socket or screwdriver to do this
 - step 6
Undo the second circular clip on the air intake - use a 7mm socket or screwdriver
 - step 7
Unplug the MAF sensor
 - step 8
Now you can release the air intake
 - step 9
Now undo the 3 x 4mm Allen Key retaining bolts
 - step 10
Carefully lift away the air filter box
 - step 11
View of the air filter cover

Air filter in position

Lift out the air filter
 - step 14
Clean off any debris on the surface of the filter. Replace with new filter if heavily contaminated
 - step 15
Check air filter box for debris. Clean if required. Replace the air filter
 - step 16
Reassemble the air filter housing
