Air filter location
Undo the MAF sensor plug
Undo the circular clip on the air intake - use circlip pliers, or mole grips will do
Release the air intake, undo the two clips
Lift the air filter unit away from the vehicle. Rotate and place on a clean, flat surface
This is the inside view of the air filter unit
Now undo the eight Phillips retaining clips
Carefully lift away the air filter section

Air filter in position
Lift out the air filter
Clean off any debris on the surface of the filter. Replace with new filter if heavily contaminated
Check air filter box for debris. Clean if required. Replace the air filter
Reassemble the air filter housing
