Petrol, mild-hybrid and petrol-hybrid (TSI, eTSI, e-Hybrid) service intervals
Seat petrol engines such as TSI/TFSI typically follow fixed servicing, with engine oil and filter changes commonly scheduled every 7500-15000 km or 12 months depending on engine and service plan. Keep ignition and emissions components in mind: spark plugs, the air filter and the cabin (pollen) filter are routine items that strongly affect driveability and fuel economy when overdue. If your car is a mild hybrid (48V eTSI) or a plug-in hybrid (e-Hybrid), it will still need regular engine servicing, plus periodic checks of high-voltage cooling and related safety systems. Short trips and stop-start use can increase oil contamination, so time-based servicing remains important even at low mileage.
