Diesel Sprinter servicing
Most Sprinter variants are diesel (CDI and BlueTEC), so routine servicing often centres on engine oil and filter changes, fuel filtration, and careful checks for leaks around the turbo and intercooler pipework. Depending on the exact CDI/BlueTEC engine fitted (including OM602, OM611/OM612, OM642, OM646, OM651 and OM654 families), oil service intervals can vary widely, so confirm the correct distance and time limits in the schedule for your engine. Diesel emissions components such as the EGR and DPF can be sensitive to duty cycle, so include regular inspections and address warning lights promptly. If your Sprinter is used for heavy loads or frequent stop-start work, it is especially important to keep on top of service consumables and cooling-system condition.
