Diesel service schedules (including DPF-equipped models)
Isuzu diesel engines typically follow oil-change intervals in the region of 10,000 to 20,000 km or 12 to 24 months, depending on engine and service plan. If your vehicle is used for short trips, towing or heavy loads, the oil and filter may need changing more often to protect the turbo and timing components. On later emissions-controlled diesels, keep an eye on EGR and DPF-related symptoms, as interrupted regeneration and soot build-up can drive poor economy and warning lights. Regular checks of coolant strength, auxiliary belts and air-filter condition are also important on working vehicles that see dust or frequent idling.
